I got power back at about 7:00, which was very unusual for this area. I guess Westchester and Rockland got their grids back pretty early. I'm trying to find out if I have work; I work in CT and as far as NYC is concerned, CT doesn't exist.

This frosts me because this is the exact same thing that happened in 1965; there was a cascading power failure. Nearly 40 years ago they were supposed to work on isolating the grid parts that went down. Our hairy buddy Osama is probably rubbing his hands together in glee.
