Please Pray for Zack

I also remember when Zack was rescued. What a fantastic rescue story it was...brought tears to my eyes. I am so very saddned that Zack and his new mom have to go through this scary obsticle so soon in their love affair, what a horrible, scary thing. I sure do hope it's nothing to serious and it heals quickly, whatever it is.

Here's a copy of Quanzhan's Monday morning update on Zack. Yeah, I'm and feeling a little more upbeat about him. Keep those prayers coming.

"Just got off the phone with the doctor in critical care unit. She told me that Zack is still going fine – had not had any bleeding incident. Still have a very good appetite. She thinks he is feeling much better and he wags his tail each time somebody is passing by – I hope that Zack will miss me a little! I just miss his frowning face. My daughter asked me to hug her all day long, she told me she misses Zack and she is very depressed. But the hospital does not recommend us to visit him now.

I was told the specialist won’t be able to check him today, because Zack’s condition is down grade from life threaten – he probably will be checked on by him tomorrow and it is also possible he has to wait to his turn (Thursday) if his condition continues to be improved.

Even though I miss Zack very much, I still think for his best interest is staying in there until everything is cleared up – he is under a 24/7 professional care (2 specialist on call all day and night).

I just want you guys to know that your posts meant a whole world to us – I know you love him as much as I do and I am not alone in this battle. Please keep Zack in your prayers; I know you love him just like I do."

I also remember your post the day Zack went to his new home. It was so nice to know he had found a loving forever home. Poor Zack, and his family, that now have to go through so much pain. The latest news seem encouraging though. We are keeping our fingers and paws crossed for him and hope he can go back home very soon with a clean bill of health.

How wonderful to get such encouraging news. Paws will continue to be crossed, though! Quanzhan sounds like the sweetest and most loving of Golden Mom's. Please let her know how we are thinking of her and praying for Zack's complete recovery and return to his loving home.

Any update on poor Zack? Any ides why he had his legs shaved?

Hey everyone. First of all, Sammi, they are treating him for a skin infection (I think), and in one of Quanzhan's updates, from yesterday, she saw him for the first time in a couple of days and declared that his legs were "hairier". That's good news.

Here is today's update, after being examined by the specialist. He's going to be ok. And I'm not sure I understand how this happened, but the best part is he's going to be ok. Here's Quanzhan's update, direct from the Golden Retriever Board, where many people are praising God right now.

"Dear friends, YOUR PRAYERS are answered !
The specialist just called and he almost 100% sure he will be home tomorrow!
They found a little bone in his nose and they removed away, the specialist said he is a very good dog, he said I am going to enjoy him very much - and don't I know it.
Well I got to go, thank you for all the love, prayers, and supports you have given to us. But please have him in your prayers, because he has another HW treatments on the way. "

I just want to tell you folks a BIG "thank you" for keeping this boy close to your hearts. We all love him so much. I'm going to email Quanzhan tonight, with the link to this thread, so she can see what warm, loving people are over here too.

I am SOOOOOO HAPPY to hear that news. I was so worried about Zack but now my worries are turned into thankfulness! I will pray that his 2nd heartworm treatment goes well...I hope that will be cake compared to all that he's been through sofar

Logan, that's such terrific, happy news!!! I posted on Quanzhan's thread as well. How thrilled she must be! Now let's hope that this brave boy has scaled his final major health hurdle! Can't wait to his his photos.
