Oh, Sara, I feel for you. I JUST went through the same thing with Rascal. My brother and niece were over for a BBQ and accidentally my niece let Rascal outside. He always becomes a true RASCAL when that happens. But we were having steak and I called him and he came running back indoors on his own. PHEW!!

Then my brother accidentally let him out AGAIN! By now it was dark. I was fearful because it is very difficult to get him once it is dark. What made me laugh is that my garden hose was uncoiled a little bit - and it stopped Rascal in his tracks. He didn't know what it was and you could see he was afraid. One quick scooping action had him in my arms and back into the house.

Rascal loves a good scrap with another male and he just won't believe me that he needs to rely on his memories, because those days (and the vet bills that go with it) ARE OVER.

I am glad you were able to herd Edwina and Eduardo back into the house.
