"Are you okay?" I asked, growing concerned. He didn't answer me. I knew something was wrong. I nudged Amanda.
"What do you want-- Carson! What's wrong baby?" She said stooping down to his level. She picked him up.
"Sorry to cut the meeting so short. I think he needs a vet." she said, looking frantically for our leashes. I showed her I didn't need my leash. I ran to the car and she followed me. She opened the door and I jumped in, scooting over so she could lay Carson down. His breathing had slowed down, like he was sleeping. I layed down and looked at him.
"Tell me what's wrong Carson. Come on. What's wrong??" I asked, pleadingly. He just closed his eyes slowly like he was falling asleep.
"CARSON!" I yelled, to wake him up.
"Stay with us Cars..." Amanda said from the front seat. I could see in the rearview mirror she was fighting back tears.
