I lived in Wisconsin for a couple of years and sometimes they'd say "aina-hey" at the end of the sentence. "It's hot today, aina-hey?"
In western Massachusetts a sub is a "grinder".
In the Metro New York area we use a lot of Yiddish slang...shmutz, shlep, some other less family oriented words...![]()
