Strange...I am picking up Graham at noon today, he is currently on a morphine drip and he has a pain patch on the actual surgery site. Doc warned me that Graham is going to be in extreme pain for the next couple of days...even so much so that he may not even be able to sleep. He warned me that Graham may become very vocal with his pain and that my sleep may suffer. I have already told hubby that I am camping out on the floor tonight next to Grahams nest. When Graham comes home with me, Doc is giving a perscription of Tylenol 4 for pain! I have never even heard of Tylenal 4, and I remember we were just discussing the danger of Tylenol on another post....I asked doc if he was sure tylenol was safe for dogs, and he said it is fine as long as it's not given in too strong a dose. He said that he was basing the dosage on the amount of codine in Tylenal 4, not on the acedominaphin (sp?) in it. So now we have Deli Dog and Graham who were either advised by a vet or perscribed by a vet to give tylenol

Sorry to be posting so much...I'll let you know how he is when I pick him up at noon.
