There is one tuxedo cat in my menagerie. Her name is Amy, and she was a rescue from the Visalia, Calif. animal shelter last year. Amy doesn't mix with the others, in fact, she won't eat with them either. I can always tell when another cat impringes on her space because she will let out a scrowel in order to frighten the other intruders away. This strategy works for her, because she is a small cat. I wanted a tuxedo kitty when I got her, but little did I know that she is a "loner" , however when I am alone she will often come to me for attention. Although she does get along with dogs very well, and knows how to protect herself from aggression from dogs. Amy definitely has "tuxitude", as you pointed out.![]()
