I had a feeling the cage would look like that. PLEASE do NOT house a tiel in that cage. It could kill him. The metal does not *look* like the type that is safe for birds. It has squares and the squares look WAY too big for a little tiel. A little birdie could get his/her head stuck in there. Nope, I do NOT recommend using this cage for a bird AT ALL. If you're getting a tiel, start cage shopping as well.

I wouldn't feed a tiel budgie seeds. Its not bad for them....its alright for them to eat, but its not enough for a tiel's nutritional needs. They only have millet and tiny seeds. The birds won't get what they need. If that store doesn't sell cockatiel food, shop on www.petco.com or www.petsmart.com. Plenty of tiel food available on both sites. Even Safeway sells tiel seeds around here. They are a very popular pet. They sell their food everywhere.
