When I put catnip down, a scrap of food, or anythign else she'll sniff it like that but then she goes to get some pettings off my hand instead of being intersted in what I was giving her.

I have said it before and will say it agian that i think she is not a cat but some alien pod creature. If she would like table scraps, or catnip I would say she just has a quirk.... but together it makes me think of the movie invasion of the body snatchers, thus an alien pod creature.

Maybe just residual strangeness as we used to live down the street (almost same block) from the diner that got eaten in the orginal Bloob movie .
