I definitely think you should follow the vet's advice. Those type of tears are so difficult to treat, especially if Bailey is so stressed over the home treatments. Ask her/him a few more questions, re: the post op period...how long will it take to grow back, what will be her activity limitaions etc. Most of all, you want to prevent an infection from settling in. I seem to remember this happening to another Pet Talk pup recently, but I can't remember, who! Please let us know what you guys decide...and hugs to sweet Bailey!
