Oh Karen...my heart breaks for you I know that shelter placement criteria might not be as strict as it is with private rescue groups, but surely, as a shelter rep., they might have given you a bit of extra cnsideration, taken the time to consider the BEST possible home for this deserving pup. Perhaps it may be unkind to say, but this famiy does not appear to be appropriate candidates for this dog. And while I may be wrong, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to learn that within weeks, this dog will be surrendered. As Rachel has said, should that occur, I surely hope the shelter would place him with you. I'm so sorry. {{{HUGS}}}
