Well, I must admit, the visit with Dr. Auvil was a bit of a dissappointment...

I am frustrated, and kind of straight mad that months later,
we are still floundering.
This can't be that rare!!!!!
{{{Huggs}}} Johanna!

Well, maybe it *is* that rare??
Scarey thought; but if well respected Dental Vets are stumped...

They're *sorta close* to you, and OSU
has a good reputation as a Vet School...
so start here >

Ohio State Univ ~ Vet School

The Big Question is how to get your (and Binx's) Feet In The Door...??

As I suggested once before ~
ASK Dr Auvil if he will permit You to correspond with some of the Vet Schools and use HIS Name when you contact them. Ask if you can act as his Personal Secretary and discuss Binx's Case more as a Vet's Assistant rather than The Patient's Mom. You might get a lot more help from the Schools and Vets; and Dr Auvil will be spared a lot of writing and phone calls.

As for communicating with a Human MD - go for it if the MD will talk to you.
Dogs DO share very similar illnesses with Humans.

And that expensive but un-written Lab Report?
That could be true... you might have to settle for Dr Auvil's notes on the verbal results he received. Hopefully he took some (notes) and will share everything with you.

Let us know if we can help!
