I totaly agree with Popcornbird and Cookiebaker. Now having said that: I bought a cougar with 1300 miles on it, it was a rental in central Oregon. I drove it for 2200000 miles, and paid less than $1000 in repairs in all those miles. But, would I do it again, no. For the reason they stated. I also wouldn't buy another American made car. I now drive a Taurus, it has 91000 miles on it and is on its 3rd torche converter. Next one will be a Toyota. I just have to save more money.
