In answer to Phred's question, I believe the more "proper" meatloaf position is the one that is also known as "Parade Float Kitty" with all appendages underneath. The other one, with front paws out was brought up as the "turkey" pose by our infamous Mz Ritzy - who makes a wonderful turkey by the way.

Although I really don't think it matters much, because these kitties are all so adorable in their meatloaf/parade float/turkey poses.
