Oh my that's terrible

. I had a similar situation (sort of) when I was 6 or so, I cut all my hair off and I looked like a little wacko girl for about 2 months, then it looked normal LOL. My mother took about 5 strands of the hair I had cut off and preserved it in a little french message box. That says :Meches which means Wicks in French

I don't know why it says Wicks on the top of the precious thing when it has HAIR that is like 14 years old!!

Here is hoping that the stylist can untangle your hair. I do not wish to see you have to cut it off.
If she can I have a suggestion for the future. Braid it and then tie it up (or let it down). My hair is just like yours and when it was long (just like yours) it was difficult. I would ALWAYS braid it and pin it up. It would not tangle this way.

Yeah, that's what I do. My hair's long so I keep it braided. It keeps it from getting tangled or breaking.

You guys have made me feel so much better about this. My mom and my sister just keep making me feel worse, my mom is praticlly in tears everytime I see her and my sister is like your not gonna have any hair left

Bald is always a great look. I gave myself a buzz cut yesterday. So if it makes you feel any better at least you won't have the shortest hair here on Pet Talk.

Ash, your hair will look lovely whatever the length - curly hair has that advantage! I bet the hairstylist will be able to get the knots out. When I was a kid, I had long, fine, straight (read that snarles at the drop of a hat) hair that I wasn't very patient good brushing as often as I should. It would get "rat's nests" that were pretty spectacular. But my friend Caroline, who wanted to be a hairdresser when she grew up, would delight in untabgling them. We'd sit and chat while she worked, and before tooooo long had passed, one could comb through my hair again!

And she DID become a hairstylist, but last I knew she lived in Maine - a little far away for you!

When I was a young girl, I got bubble gum stuck in my hair. My Mom couldn't get it out so I had to go and have it cut out.

I didn't like my new hair cut at the time but grew to like it. At least hair will grow back. I sure hope that everything goes well tomorrow.

BTW I also have naturally curly hair that becomes easily tangled.

I didn't cry during the apointment. And I even smilled when I saw it. Novie still reconizes me, I wonder if the rats and Julian will. I look like a boy! When I swing my head theres no hair to hit in me in the eyes and make me go blind for a few second! I want my hair back, I don't like it short.

::sigh:: I got pictures for you to look at. I even got a reward for being so good, my knotted hair. You all can see the knott that no one can get out.

Try not to scream when you see the knott...

I am so sorry that they could not fix your hair.

I think it looks good, but I know it is not what you wanted. You will find that even though you want the long hair back, your new short hair will not only be easy but cool and comfortable.

I'm so sorry they had to cut it.

Remember that it will grow back hopefully very soon, so just a few months of sadness, and then you'll start to see your hair coming back.

I know how you feel. I would cry if I had to cut my hair that short.

Your hair was so pretty long, but it will come back soon, so don't worry. Next time take good care of it to prevent it from tangling so bad.

iI kind like it now! I took a shower and styled it with Gell that way I wanted it. And I also got over the schock from having nor hair at all, LOL! Its LOADS of fun to wash in the shower, I can take like 10 mins showers now instead of the usual half hour ones!

I am so exited! LOL I think I cna live with this for now! I do miss my long hair, but I'm kinda scared to grow it long again, it might tangle. So for now its short, and I'm liking it. Not lovign it yet, but I like it.

I'm so sorry about what happened.

And I know this is not what you want to hear, but what I will say is it's a great haircut and you look really cute in it!

I know we all tend to find something about ourselves that we wish we could change and I would love to have your curly hair. Mine is string straight. I keep it shorter (first - because I'm a lot older than you) but mostly because it won't hold curl most of the time and when it's humid it just goes limp.
