oofa is very beautiful. We have many many deer in our yard but none are tame enough to pet. They allow us to get quite close but that is all. I don't try to encourage more than that however. If Oofa is a male you want to be very careful this fall. When bucks come into rut they can become very aggressive. Especially bucks that have lost their natural fear of humans. Most likely however you won't see him if he isn't penned in. Nature takes over and they are busy.
