i thought of that myself.Cause vets are not gonna to hold you liable for bring in a stray and not wanting it.But,my in my case,I took in carl and kept the little knob lol...I knew he was abandoned the minute i brought him home,he went and found the litter box on his own and dug and covered right away.So i knew he was abandoned.Below is a pic of Carl
