Right. Loonies are 1 dollar pieces and toonies are 2 dollar pieces. For some reason the gvt decided to do away with paper money and give us all these heavy pieces of metal to carry around. I hear tell that soon we might be getting a five-dollar coin as well.....just a rumour though.....I hope.
