Carl's in a photo contest, can you please vote for him?

I'd just like to thank everyone who voted for Carl. I didn't mean to get anyone upset. If you didn't vote for Carl, that's fine, if you did that's wonderful!

This contest has shown one thing: I know I have a lot of friends here at Pet of the Day that's better than any 1st place.

I got an email from Chelsey's owner asking me to vote for her, she said she was emailing everyone she knew and posting messages on every message board she knew of. So, Chelsey's mom was just as "ride" as I was.

All I want to say on this matter is that I've always considered everyone here, including their dogs, as "family." And family sticks together! We know and love Carl and Rottie and just wanted to show our support for one of our own! I know we all believe that all dogs are beautiful and, as the above banner states, "every pet is special!" I feel so badly that this had to become a contentious issue. It was all in fun, and I hope that your feelings, Rottie, are not hurt by some of the more critical remarks. I am the MOST sensitive doggie mom; mine are truly like my kids. I know I would feel hurt, but hope you're a bit tougher than I am! Please, do not apologize FOR ANYTHING! You're both #1 in my book. Tats, I was think the exact thing as I read the posts. This is a family. What the heck do you think it is politicians are doing when campaigning? Asking for votes! Rottie, you weren't being rude. Voting was fun and as so many others have said, Carl's a cutie and #1 in my book.

Rottie I don't think you were being rude at all. We ARE a family! If anyone in my family needs me to help them out, I'm there! Congratulations to Rottie! He will always be the winner in our eyes. Don't be offended by anyone getting all worked up over a little contest. I ran for class vice president my freshman year of high school and I asked everyone I could think of to vote for me... even tried bribing with candy, LOL. It wasn't really bribing of course; I just handed Hershey's Kisses out with papers in them saying "Vote for Bridget" If merely asking for votes is so bad I must be simply horrible! Way to go Carl!

Belated Karen is here...of course with an opinion!!!! To those who thought it was rude to ask for votes, you would do it too!! I totally agtree with our Tats and others, all dogs are wonderful, and if any of the others on the site asked for my vote, I would have, BUT, Rottie is Family and Family stick together! We are "aunts" and "uncles" to Carl! He's OUR boy! I gave the others a vote in fairness, but I definitely gave Carl more than one! Jesh! it's not the presidental election, it's just a fun website contest!

I've been voting for Winston today and yesterday. I gotta stay loyal to the fox terriers Plus I usually vote for the underdog anyway.

I have Reece's pic up on a pet picture rating site and he only has a 4.60 rating after 10 people voted. What a blow to the ego. I was so sure he'd be a perfect 10 Thats okay, he's perfect in my eyes.
