Good on you, Cassie.
RachelJ, how thoughtful of you to do some 'aussie talk'! That makes me feel so welcome. I'm learning some american expressions, too. Among my best teachers of 'american talk' are the Cinders & Smoke stories & all the US Pet Talkers' responses to them.
Just a tip how to talk 'super aussie'. Australians always cut down words & phrases to the barest minimum. Like 'barbecue' is 'barbie'. So when we say 'Good on you!', we often cut it to 'Onya!' So 'Onya, RachelJ, for making people from Down Under feel welcome & included'.
That's also why we call Australia 'Oz' (it's how the first syllable, 'Aus', sounds.)
