Raccoons are classified as furbearers under the Wildlife Act, and may be trapped in season by registered trappers who have a valid trapping licence. When you break that down into easy terms I believe it says that raccoons can be hunted in British Columbia. BC Site

Ahh....ok....I get it now.My dad told me that it was illegal to hunt racoons, possums, skunks, and other small critters...Guess he was wrong haha. Well, i'm not going to correct him, or the racoons in his back yard are goners!
