Well Penny Lane is back from the vets (another $200) - most of her wounds were puncture wounds and are being treated as open sores. She had one on her foot that required two stitches. I am trying to keep her very quite and I am watching them very closely, but she is growling whenever Leo even comes near her.
Is this normal after a squirmish like this?
I am just so upset, I don't know what to do. This is the first time I have ever had to deal with having dogs that don't get along. They can't live the rest of their lives being separated - it would make my life miserable and not be fair to them. I am going to keep Penny Lane on the back porch while I am at work, like I did when she was having bladder control problems. I have been in tears all day thinking I might have to rehome her.![]()
