Strut Your Stuff in the TAHS Mutt Show!
That’s right, the Great American Mutt Show Toledo takes place on Saturday, July 12, 2003 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Toledo Area Humane Society! Your beloved mutt can compete and entertain in affectionately titled “mostly” breed categories like “mostly lab,” “mostly hound,” “mostly terrier,” etc. The winner from each category will compete in "Best in Show" and "Best in Show" will have the option of going on to New York City to compete in the Great American Mutt Show NATIONAL COMPETITION (put on by Tails In Need, Inc.) in Central Park on September 14, 2003 at the owner's expense.

Join us for a day of friendly competition that includes vendor booths, contests like "most unusual markings" and "looks most like another animal" and the Mutt Show competition. Cost is $20 in advance (must be postmarked by July 4) or $25 after the cut-off date or on the day of the event. Cost for spectators not participating in the event is $5 and tickets may be purchased at the event. Spectators may bring their dogs and ANY dog - spectator or Mutt Show participant - will be able to enter the "fun" contests like "most unusual markings."
