Penny Lanes breath was really stinky when I first adopted her so I had her teeth cleaned by the vet when she got spayed. She also had two teeth that were in pretty bad shape, so they were pulled. She now had very sweet smelling breath! I am now brushing them 2X a week.

Leo I adopted when he was 8mos and I brush his teeth twice a week - his breath has always been good.

I also give them greenies, not really for their breath which is fine but because they are healthy treats and they love them!!
