Well, I'm not sure if it's the first time he'd seen a vet. He'd been in for a check up a few weeks before. But the fact that he was left there, operated on, and left there for two days with people he didn't really know, I think that spooked him somewhat, becase we couldn't take him home for two days. And also the fact that the surgery was painful, even after he'd woken up from the anesthetics. And, he wasn't allowed outside or do anything vigerously active fro two weeks till the stitches disolved.
