i didn't have one, but one of my best friends have one. here are some suggestions for you

~make sure that she knows who's boss, they can be very headstrong!
~house train and obedience train her
~give her alot of exercise, she'll need it
~also i have noticed they are a one person dog
~they can run fast and long so i would suggest training her to stay in the yard
~they can be very protective and won't change their mind if they disslike someone/something


i think those are the all the suggestions i have right now. congrats on the pup. they grow fast so don't miss any of it. akitas are soooooo beautiful!!!
