today i saw my tax dollars at work......


i was lucky enough to be invited to watch the military planes take off from the Aviation Expo near my house. I was invited to watch from a hanger about 100 feet from the runway....

an F-15 eagle taking off in FULL AFTERBURNER is loud!!!!

and a specatular sight to see......i recommend it to everyone!!
After that stupid crash in Ukraine (was it last summer or two summers ago) when tens of people were killed by the plane, I would hardly go to a show But I would love to fly in a jet!
