Sorry I missed all this, I was out shopping for Toby and Lily. I got them a special gift .. I'll post that in another thread. Ohh I'm getting all weepy here .. Aly that was such a sweet post .. I'm so happy to be getting Lily, yet I feel your pain .. I know this must be so hard - there's really nothing I can say to make you feel better only I promise I will let you see her grow up! Maybe someday you will visit Newfoundland, who knows??

I am so glad that Lily is in good hands on her flight to NFLD .. she will arrive safe and sound! Oh my I will never sleep tonight!! I just might get to see that 2 am post you are going to write!

One question for you .. how long will your dad be staying here in NFLD? I ask because I have some things to send back to you .. and I didn't know if he would be able to take it or not =/ If not I'll send by mail

You're sure sending her 100% prepared aren't you?? Wow, you're awesome to do all this! Thank you SOO much! I could never repay you ... will an endless supply of pictures and videos do?

YES! Pictures and videos out the wazoo will be wonderful But you don't need to repay me. Seeing her get a wonderful home that she soooo deserves is payment enough

I'm so happy Lily is getting the best possible parents

My mom mentioned to me today that maybe I could go see my dad sometime and visit Lily I'm not sure how long my dad is staying.. I think at least 2 months.

I forgot to tell you one other thing I sent. In her carrier, under the bed is a towel. Thats one of the towels I used to hold her in when I bottle fed her (I kept the other one). So you can keep that if you're a sentimental, emotional sap like me Eeeep here come the tears again.

I'm going to tell my dad to call you at 4pm tomorrow to make arrangements. Or should I tell him to call earlier?

If he could call a little bit earlier it would be better, if he can't thats okay, but around 3 or 3:30 would be best, so I can let my boss know I may have to leave early.

I think it is a wonderful story about a sweet little kitty going from one great Pet Talk home to another.

My sister will be landing in Newfoundland in TWO HOURS!!!! I expect the phone call in less than 3 hours.

I'm so filled with anxiety, I don't know what to do. I'll upload the pics I took of her before she left

I was just admiring your sig and then a thought occured to me. Henry will be out of Lily's reach, right? I got scared to death she'd try to 'play' with him

lol, don't worry, we've had Henry covered from the start .. we have a plastic lid with a hole on it taped on the top of his bowl .. Toby loves to get up and stick his nose in the hole and pat at the side of the bowl .. I will introduce Lily to Mr.Henry. He's my sweet little fishie. He's over a year old.

My sister and Lily just switched planes in Chicago. They are off to Toronto now where they will switch planes again before finally arriving in Newfoundland.

5 hours of the trip down, 7 to go.

Ok, that does it, I've got to get a map of Canada. I thought I had it pretty well in my head where all these places where, but I never thought it would be a 12 hour plane flight!

Is Henry a betta? I have a betta too. Lily liked to tap on his glass so I'm sure she'll be happy to see Henry

T&P's Mom - Yeah, its faaaaaar! Actually its less than a 12 hour flight, but I added in travel time in the car and also lay overs at airports.

12 hours .. quite a long time for Lily to be in a carrier!! oh my .. poor thing, she's going to be so contrary! Henry is a betta, yup. Toby loves watching him, and of course, patting his food off the table, like he does with everything else he sees fit to fall on the floor!
