One thing you might want to look into in the future is list the dogs in alphabetical order by either dog's names or Pet Talk user names and maybe even have different pages for each letter (or several letters) so that it's easy to look through.

I know from experience though, how much work it is to maintain a website and how much more work it is to go through a complete *makeover* So, maybe you'll never have time for it, and maybe it's just not a good idea. But, that's my $.02 Thanks!
