Welcome to Pet Talk! I agree with what everyone else here has said. I have had to make that decision 3 other times in my life. Each time was just as bad as the time before. I was fortunate, as you are, to not have had to do this until my dogs were in their teens, with my oldest living to be 17. He was also deaf and had extremely dense cataracts and could not go through the night without peeing. It was extremely sad and back then there was no Pet Talk.
