OMG- I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!

I have brown hair, which is matted at the bottom, and hay mixed in it. I wear torn overalls, with a handkerchief in the pocket, and a big straw hat, and wheat hangin' from my mouth. I mean come on that is the style...and people say I look like a hick? WHAT IS UP WITH THAT!!! Grr...I hate it.
