If he's not drinking water, though, I'd take him in and let them give fluids until Dr. Ball can see him.
He finally drank some water and ate two teaspoons of canned tuna in oil. Thank goodness for small favors! He is resting now. At least he stopped pacing and bumping into things. Both my son and daughter asked if he could see....my son held something out for him and he found it by sniffing, not by looking...my son said. It was cheese and he took it but dropped it and left. That is not like Killian at all (except when his liver is acting up.) I do know the signs of liver disease....pacing, nervousness, lack of appetite, head pressing (he's not doing the head pressing). This has me scared. I know he is 9 yrs. old with liver-d and autoimmune-d, but I'm still not ready. I can tell he has lost a few of his extra pounds we had on him. That's ok, he can still lose more without me being upset.
Just when you get comfortable and feeling like he can live forever (ok, for years), then liver-d raises it's ugly head and hits you in the heart.
He will be ok, he will be ok, he will be ok......
