Vern is about 5 or 6 years old, Not really sure we got him after his past owner couldn't take care of him any more. He just got bigger then they thought. Thats the problem with a lot of people they get a pet without know whats ahead for them in the furture.

Verns is just short of 6 feet long, head to tail, we need heavy duty gloves to hold him, if he gets mad, he can hurt you. Most of the time he's wonderfull. But even the best of pets can turn on you.

We had to build him a huge cage that runs along the back of our home, but he can come up to the kitchen window and knock when he wants food. There's been times he's knocked the screen down and just made himself at home. It's so nice to come home and find him wandering around.
