My dog has to get his glands expressed once every 2 1/2 weeks. He has actually gotten used to seeing the vet to have this done and actually get's excited when I say the vet's name I was told that I could do it myself, but I opt to pay the $8 to have the professionals do it.

I know there is a surgery that can be done, but there is the possibility that the problem can worsen. Has anyones dog had this surgery done. I would love some feedback.
