Have you thought of going to Petco, Pet Supplies Plus, PetSmart, or any other pet stores in your area and ask if they'd be willing to donate cat items for your cause? I've done that in the past and have never been turned down. Just a suggestion to help you defray the cost of rescue. Check you PM's. I'm sending you one.
