One thing we can be thankful for is that you noticed what your pup was doing, and told your doctor. We also can be thankful that your doctor does not consider himself a know it all that doesn't belive the powers of a dogs sense of smell. I am very sorry that you do have this condition, but I am thankful that it has been caught in early stages.
