Had a chat with my mother tonight. It's not a "no" but it's not a "yes" either.... I also decided to spring it on my brother and wife. Britney seems really interested in it. She says she's gonna work on Brendon for me. Brendom seemed like he wanted to go until he found out it was the last weekend of the deer hunt....

Karen, here's a list of pet friendly hotels in the area. I think some are bringing pets so would probably have to stay in one of these. I've booked with them before and it worked out perfect.

Comfort Suites Uptown Albuquerque NM. 2 room suites with lots of extras, very reasonable. Walking distance to fair grounds. Don't have the phone number but did a search for "comfort suites uptown albuquerque nm" and it came right up. Back atcha soon Aly, too much work waiting this a.m.

Approx. where is the grounds located? Is it in the middle of town or more on a certain side of town? Anyone know the address? What other places are near the grounds (shops, restaurants, etc.) ?

I just called them. (they are on Louisana Blvd) Too late, all booked for that weekend I should have booked last week. Now have to start all over again
