He most likely wont do it himself. My advice to you is to drink a ton of water, it makes your viens come out more, so its easier and MUCH faster for them to hurry up and get the blood.

Tell the nurse that does the draw that you are afraid. They are used to people being scared and will talk you through it. I find comfort in talking until its done, with my eyes closed.

You'll be OK, I promise. When its over, you'll be all done and you'll wonder why you were so scared. Trust me...I've been there.
