Poor Penny, and you! I know how you feel! Oreo also "leaked" unintentionally while sleeping. She, like tatsxxx11's Cody, takes medication that has solved the problem. We started with phenylpropanolamine, but because of some side effects for her, her vet switched her to diethylstilbestrol (DES), 1 tablet two days a week.

It is great to hear that she is a happy dog now! Good luck at the doctor's, Penny!
