Babysitting

Do any of you babysit?? I'm going to be baby sitting Charlie [ see pics] every monday and tuesday all summer [unless we decide to go on vacation] ... He's around 4 years old and i've know him since the day he was born. He's a godd little kid, He loves SimSim and NalaBala I'm geting $30 dollars a week, which i'm completely fine with since i'm used to having no money anyways.

Here's a pic of him and Sim around Christmas of 2002... I'm sure you'll be seeing tons of pics of him soon with the pups lol.

I babysat when I was younger. I had fun at the time and made money. Would I do it now??? I'd rather chew glass! I've raised my kid, who is now 27. The only one I'd babysit for is any grandkids I'd have. I'm just too damn old

P.S. To age myself a little, when I was your age (MOONS ago, I got $1.00/hr!!) It was the best money they ever spent, too! I'd wash the dishes, give the kid's baths, etc. Almost like being a Mom without the hassle.

I babysit for my sister thats about it...and that isn't a lot. I personally am not a kid person lol..My nephew is still really young and I don't do the diper thing So I try to stay away from it

OMG yes, I babysat for YEARS! I loved it! I babysat for 8 families (not all at once, obviously) and was "booked" every Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights. Then I had a regular job of every afternoon for 3 hours. My youngest was an infant, and my oldest was 12. I never had a job besides babysitting. I miss those days! (It made some pretty awesome $)

I babysat when I was in highschool well I helped my aunt. Then about 2 years ago I was babysitting at my own home. It was ok. I tried watching 3 boys plus Kaitlynn. And it got to hard on me. I'll never watch that many again at one time. It is ok maybe babysit 1 or 2.

I babysat for tons of people when I was young, mostly Friday & Saturday nights. It was a great job, where else do you get paid to put the children to bed then watch tv & eat snacks?
My niece that stayed with us last summer babysat for a girl I worked with, she was such a cutie, here's a pic.

I babysat a lot when I was in High School. There was a family that paid good but their kids were horrible and I'd only agree to watch them if I really needed the money (which was 99.9% of the time lol! )

I babysat in high school, and in college. It was a great experience. It helped me decide that I liked kids, which helped me find my career!

Growing up I baby-sat for a set of twins in our neighborhood! I babysat for them for years and I still try to keep in contact and close to them. Infact, Brian and I had them out for Thanksgiving last year, I can't believe they're almost done with their freshman year of high school now, wow, I'm getting old!

I babysat other times too, but I really don't babysit much now, just a few times for friends of ours!

I don't baby-sit on a set schedule. I usually baby-sit my neighbors baby (and dog) when they want to go out that night for some reason. I generally watch Morgan anywhere from 5 p.m to 10 p.m. and they give me $20.00. When they go out of town for the weekend I dogsit/housesit for them and I get $50.00.

There aren't too many kids around here, so it's hard to find a babysitting job. Besides...I'd look around for a dog sitting job before a babysitting job. hehe.

When we used to live in Milwaukee I used to baby-sit my neighbors little girl (Jayna) 24/7. She was like my little sister, and I considered her parents my second parents. We did everything together; Julie even took me up to her mom & dad's farm (in Elroy, Wisconsin), and let me come with them when they'd show their cows at the Wisconsin State Fair. I baby sat Jayna for free; I did it for pure fun. Unfortunately we moved to the current house, and I got to visit once and a while. Then they moved too. I haven't seen them for a year or so, and I miss them so much. Sometimes I start to cry when I think about them and all the fun things we did together. GGEEEZEEE...I am getting choked up! These weren't my neighbors...I considered them family. To me, I lost part of my family...so it hurts real bad.

I spent two summer babysitting ( notmention all the time at home for my brother and sister) The first time was the summer after 8th grade, I watched two girls about 9 hrs a day and got about $60/week. Then the summer after my junior year I watched 4 kids, also about 9 hrs a day and got about $100/wk.

Don't really do too much now...I think wehave had my SIL's 4 boys, once or twice....
