I know you are not going to like my suggestion but here goes

I really think your cat needs a cat friend. I know you have previously stated that you don't want to adopt another cat but I would like you to consider it, for Sioux sake.

You have previously posted that Sioux eats cables, chews clothes and acts aggressively towards you. He sounds very very bored.

Our Milly acted aggressively with me & my partner (PaysForIt), as our older cat wouldn't play with her. We adopted a young friend for her, following suggestions from this forum.

Within days Milly calmed down, her behaviour improved and she was much happier in herself. We are very pleased that we adopted our loveable Milo

PPS. Where do you live ? UK or USA, City or countryside

PPPS. If it is safe to do so, maybe you could let him play outside and that way he could make kitty friends without you needing to adopt another cat.
