Well, it looks like we're just going to stick with Sammy. We got so used to calling her that, and we're already still struggling with getting the gender right when we refer to her 
, even when we try to call her something else it still comes out Sammy. We thought about Tiger Lily, since she's orange striped, graceful, and lovely like a tiger lily (well, maybe not graceful), but we keep calling her Sammy without meaning to! Oh well.......I'm sure I'll never call her by a real name anyway 
.
Dudley is warming up more and more - this morning he was galloping after her when she was cavorting around the living room, but he would stop short of touching her, even though he reached out tentatively once. At one point he was running after her, and she stopped suddenly, so he had to jump OVER her .
She's also discovered the unfortunate slipperiness of wood floors, and done a few sideways skids already.
