Kim, please do not panic. ANY URI would be highly contagious (meaning if one got a cold, the others may follow). I am sorry that this happened, but I hate to see you beating yourself up from it. As you state in your post (about FVR), adults do not always show symptoms. You could have this problem even if you did not bring any strays in to the house. Any one of us who adopt a new kitty could have this happen to them, but that does not make us regret doing it. Hopefully this will all be just a distant memory very soon.
