I'm so glad they're all safe and sound. It's a horrible feeling when one of them gets out even for a few seconds.

I remember when we were going in the car just from a vet apointment and his collar was too loose so he slipped out. My mom put it on..so she didn't know how tight. at first he ran towards a VERY busy road, but I think it was his fear of cars that made him run the other way. I had to trick him into thinking I had a treat for him to get him to sit and carry him back. Just another example that basic obedience (even sit) is important to teach.
