Tell us, Sarah! How'd you do?

In one of my riding competitions, one of my team-mates asked:

"How'd you ride?"
"Eh. I placed 3rd."
"But how'd you ride?"

That always stuck with me. You see, it's really NOT about winning... it's the fact that you tried your very best!
