I do believe you should not have a dog free on your front porch or in your front yard unless hes got an electric fence or something to keep him their, But i let both of my dogs on my front porch without them running into the neighbors yard when he lets his Golden retrievers out. So yes, I believe you should eithor get an electric fence so it doesnt happen again, Or just keep him/her on a leash, But if you want you could let him out when the neighbors dog isnt outside Anyway, Goodluck.
