What a cutie! I am getting a russian tortoise tonight! What breed is Lucy?
This will be my first tortoise and I am getting it (not sure yet if it is a boy or girl) from a non-pet experienced person (that is one of the reasons she is giving it up) so I am trying to learn as much as possible about them. I used to have a few turtles but never a land reptile. Do you have any pointers or tips for me? I think it will be an indoors tortise as that is how it has lived so far plus I am in upstate ny so it gets cold here in the winter. I am sure we will go out in the summer for excersize sessions.
