My first instinct is to say are you 100 % sure she is not hiding inside her enclosure? You may think I am insulting your intelligence, but I have had cats (several) that hid in their single room (no possible escape) so well that I was CERTAIN they DID get out. They blend into the environment. I mean, if you can't find an opening...........

BUT....after you're certain she's out I have to agree that trying to recapture her is the best thing to do. If she needs to live outside, she will do better in the place she was familiar with.
