Here's what Axel looked like when I saw him in the pound. He was scheduled to go to research the day I pulled him.

Here's Axel this morning with his new family. I'd swear he was grinning when he got into their car and saw he had his own pillow and blanket and huge bone for the 10 hour ride home.

I think the only reason I stay in this rescue "job" is to have days like this!
