Actually baby bunnies, wild and domestic, get fed twice a day by their mom at dawn and dusk. She leaves them in order to draw predators away from the nest, so they never really are abandoned.

We have 20 babies right now at our sanctuary...I'm guessing this one is 5 weeks old and he would be eating mostly vegetation at this age.

If he does come back you could either call a wild life rehab. person, leave him be or keep him. He is old enough to be away from his momma.
